Phonetic Exercise
Phonetic exercise is a sound installation where one hears the sounds of a Blue Tit bird as well asa human being trying to imitate the sounds that the bird makes. The bird’s natural behaviour
contrasts with the human being’s problems to identify, repeat and interpret the sounds. Through
this contrast I am trying to deal with issues on the border of adaptation, self-effacement and
growth, which are all themes for the other parts of the exhibition.
